Pastor and Kathy Holdeman
Pastor Holdeman is all about pursuit. Since receiving the call to preach the Word of God at a very young age he has relentlessly pursued that calling. He pursues God with passion, zeal and enthusiasm. He offers hope, encouragement and a challenging message that comes from years of prayer, study and ministry experience. He loves God, his wife Kathy, his family and his church. His mission in life is to know Christ and to make him known. He is a man of pursuit.
As Your Pastor, My Goals in Life are:
To have a personal, thriving, passionate and committed walk with Jesus.
“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 3:14
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33
To be a godly example and role model as a husband, father and man.
“…be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” — 1 Timothy 4:12
“For if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?” — 1 Timothy 3:5
To seek God’s face and boldly preach His Word without apology.
“Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all long suffering and teaching.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires,
because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers.” — 2 Timothy 4:2,3
To operate this ministry with complete honesty, stewardship and integrity.
“…we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man.” — 2 Corinthians 7:2
To strategically pray and plan for the future with purpose and vision.
“Any enterprise is built by wise planning, becomes strong through common sense, and profits wonderfully by keeping abreast of the facts.” — Proverbs 24:3,4
To quickly, decisively and firmly confront and resolve conflicts.
“For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.” — James 3:16
“For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?” — 1 Corinthians 3:3
To intentionally and frequently teach tithing and God’s financial principles.
“Wisdom is better than strength. Nevertheless the poor man’s wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.” — Ecclesiastes 9:16
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” — 3 John 2
To boldly lead our church to be passionately and intensely Pentecostal.
“And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.” — 1 Corinthians 2:4
To build, grow and equip a strong team of leaders and ministers.
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.” — Ephesians 4:11,12
To never let apathy go unchallenged.
“So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.” — Revelations 3:16
To coach you to be great and add value to your life.
“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” — Proverbs 27:17
To love you, pray for you and believe in you.
“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy,
for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing,
that he who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” — Philippians 1:3-6
